Xml-Xsl

Hi

I am a University Student in Luton, UK.
I have an assignment about xml xsl and dtd.
In the ass. I have 3 question, for example:
"Display information of a book when the user type in Author's name, you will have to show all books written by that author"

For each of this queries I have to create an xsl stylesheet, and link to an xml file.
I searched everywhere, but I have no idea, how on earth could I connect 4 XSL stylesheet to one XML.
Please help me, I am not asking to solve my assignment, just help me continue.
