Worst Web Design Site
Hahaha, this is great!!
http://www.graphic9.com/
This website is using frames, and tables, and some stupid JavaScript. Oh and here is the best part...they are a web design company...such BS...lol
Read the first paragraph..."graphic9 is a web design company specialising in cutting edge websites with style, interactive Flash animation, high end multimedia, and robust database applications. Based in the UK, graphic9 design delivers affordable business and e-commerce website solutions all over the world."
Where is that interactive flash animation at? Oh and that high end multimedia...such BS...lol

Re: Worst Web Design Site
That's a good one, Jacob. Even mine is slightly better than that. I do wonder what they were thinking. Of course it could be a one man operation and he has been able to bluff alot of people. Maybe we should invite him to join....

Re: Worst Web Design Site
That's awesome!
Why do they put the date on the page? To show that they know PHP? (The simplest PHP code there is...)
It says 22th March 2007. Shouldn't it at least say March 22nd 2007 if you're going to put the date on there?

Re: Worst Web Design Site
Hehe, on the links page, there is no scroll bar (at least in Safari), so I can only view a small portion of the page.

Re: Worst Web Design Site
I am going to be nice and assume this is a first site. If you look really hard there must be something good about it.
The color of the links stands out nicely from the background. And I do like the creative font used for the buiness name. In addition, No capital letters at the beginning of sentences speaks of a very creative and innovative design.
PS. I can get you a great deal on a bridge between San Francisco and Marin county if you are interested. lol

Re: Worst Web Design Site
See, I knew we could find a few positive things to say about the poor persons site. One must always look on the bright side of things.
And speaking of the Bridge...we are having a special this weekend if anyone is interested.

Re: Worst Web Design Site
Wow.
I just signed up tonight to this site thinking I'd be able to get some help when I finally start up a forum of my own. To see that you just tore this guy a new one, a MEMBER no less...makes me wonder if I should stick around here...

I hope you noticed this was a first site and It is posted in what we call the Worst Sites forum. Postings are the opinion of the poster initially and then others look and offer their own thoughts. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't. We did not "tear this guy a new one", we were offering our opinions only. If you want to see how Critiques are written here, go to the Critique forum and read those. People voluntarily put up sites and experienced designs look at them and offer suggestions for improvement and occasionally 'rip them a new one.' I am truly sorry you might not want to join, because you will miss out on alot of information that will stand you in good stead as a web designer.

Re: Worst Web Design Site
I'm pretty sure we're allowed to poke fun at some sites.
Besides, we are being honest. Which is important.
Anyway, I don't think that this site is...bad. I like it, but I wouldn't pay for it.

Okay, first off this is not a members website. This forum is for worst websites, so members find websites they think really suck due to coding or graphics...etc, and post them here. Kinda a what not to do example...lol.
So no one tore me a new one!

Re: Worst Web Design Site
I think it great to have an area to rip the s**t out of some bad design... but has any one contacted the site to offer them some advise as it is really poorly designed.
I can't even see all the page some of the text is hanging of the browser and they have fixed the page size so that there are no scroll bars to view everything.
Also if you did want to contact them you have to go to 2 different pages... its really shocking.....
I wonder if they have any customers. I in fact tried to contact them using there contact form and guess what it seems that the email validation does not even work which means if you where a customer you can not contact them. The best bit is there is not even a web masters email address! what a very poor design. I am still going to try and find out the web designers name.
