Hi all. I want to create a site for my own and to host it. I don't know what site to create. It must be useful and informal.

What would you like to put on your site?
Are you looking to put up your random thoughts and things that interest you? If so then you are probably looking for a blog, for which I would recommend wordpress. it's simple to use and easy to customise. You can even host it on the wordpress server to start with, just to save you some money until you get comfortable using it.

Wordpress is free whatever.
What he means is you can have a www.mysite.wordpress.com site, wordpress hosts this themselves and that's why you have the .wordpress bit in the URL. Or, you can download WP and host it on your own, but hosting is something you have to pay for, this is what he means. Craig
