Trade & Currency for the Seal Portal

Its about that time where I began to add the System Credits(SC) to the virtual online game the Seal Portal.

Remember the Seal Portal is a game and SC's are either earned, traded, or purchased.

So far I can think of several tables I will need:
  1. I'll need a table to keep track of the SC transactions. EG Your auction made 1500 SC, you won 150 SC from a random event, you lost 900 SC because of losing the weekly contest. ETC...
  2. I'll need a table telling the computer how much SC's each user has, and how much is currently protected from random events (IE how much is in the bank)
So far thats all I can think of, I need help to think of other ways of tracking money I might need.

Shouldn't it be Credits System, sounds better.
Well you could have 1 table for all:

userid || type || comments || amount

Userid: The user that received or had many deducted.
Type: The type of transaction or event.
Comments: The comment they will receive (You won 50 credits on the lottery etc.)
Amount: -500 or +1000 denotes how much was added or taken away.

Okay so I'd have to calculate the total every time you refresh or go to another page?
Thats the purpose for the second database to quickly get access to the total funds.

I like the idea of the type of event.

System Credits (SCs is used to entail the Credits earned from playing The Seal Portal System, but I'll think of a better name than credit system or sysetm credits. It needs to be a currency like neopets has neopoints.

That table is just for tracking, I'd have a columns called credits in the User table for funds in total.

Ok, that would work. I'd read it at once.
