Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Getting better!!!!

I'd suggest some padding for the left and right margins of the site.
You never want to have a site right up against the edges.

This creates breathing room and it pleases people!
Keep up the good work!

I say again: don't make users work hard. Make it easy for them.

Knowing some Spanish is not a reason to show it off on your website.

The problem is, they the names of the teams. EG. Vas is a CRS, "Customer Response Service Even if I use CRS, It would be the same as Vas.

I'm trying to take that in account, but it might be a while to come-up with a good "user-friendly" name that is unique and descriptive.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

What's wrong with "Products" and "Customer support"?

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Because "Personja" isn't all our products it just the apparel products. Maybe I could say "Products" and add personja as a second tab to that.

For now I could say customer support, but really Vas is a product that helps a company company to respond to customers, help track problems, and communicate effectively with customers. We will be using our own product for customer response and support.

Okay, so how about "Clothing" or "Apparel products"?

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Tried to upload my changes, most of them took affect, so you can see some of the changes (minimal) like extra Vas 'stuff' for my customers and better navigation names. However my padding changes and the new logo(s) never took affect. My computer HD ATI 2600xt, killed my computer, so the upload was half working. If you find a problem please post ASAP. You'll help me fix it for next upload.

It's better although the footer colour is horrid.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

The background or the text color?

I agree with you, but I haven't thought about a replacement background or style for the footer.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Problem Fixed, with padding.
Padding updated.

Shortened the header image.
New logos!
New EGT Logo!
New Vas logo!

Take a look, at the Vas sites and at the main site, tell me anything else (besides the footer) that I need to improve upon.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Good work! It's continuing to improve. In particular, it seems less "random", with much more consistent formatting.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Thanks, but I feel like the black/gray header needs some joy, excitement, or ad least some color to complement the site. Any artists out there wanna lend me a hand? Ad least some sorta idea for the background of the header.

Question? The webforumz logo is almost double the size of mine, so is google's, yahoo's, myspace's etc... Should my logo be bigger? What size is a good logo?

---
Side note, I'm changing the personja shop to be all my products, though my printing company. My quality, my site, no more stupid cafepress limitations, it can finally validate. Well as soon as I began work on a check-out system.

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Make the logo a little bit bigger and the text with the logo are too small.
Overall design is quiet ok, but I don't like the font size!
The title font should be bigger than the content font size

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Which title font I have three title fonts,

1. The Page Group Title: EG... Vas: Customer Response and Care Team for EGTv.
2. The Page Title: EG... EGT Weekly
3. The Article Title: Vas Tracking system for UPS shipments.

Which one has a font problem?

Re: Doing my website, The right way.

Good to know, please give me specific suggestions or some sorta specific problem.

As for the fonts, I'm still trying to look for the right font. Funny thing is IE Fonts look different then Firefox fonts? (Any Browser, for that matter) Anyone know why? Why do the borders act horrible in IE6? I set them to 1px or thin and they are like 3 px;

Example's Uploaded, complements of browsershots.org!
