Hands up if you wireframe!

ok guys i was wondering which tools u guys use for wireframng?

i have used:

powerpoint
excel
html

but was wondering if there was anyother interesting tools out there?

Excel!? Are you serious?

Just checking we're on the same wavelength here, you're talking about visual structure / page layout?

Personally, I use Photoshop (Elements) and I know a lot of others do too. If the CS version is bit over budget (I think the going rate is £600+- ), Elements is an excellent alternative.

The next best (some argue 'as good as') alternative is the GIMP - and it's open source!

aah no i dont mean visual layouts... i am a CS3 man through and through

i mean page structural layouts.

Boxy things with nav goes here and header goes here kind of thing.

That, and Photoshop still! (Even it's simply dragging a few boxes on the screen )

Still use PS, once I've set up the guides for the wireframe they're already in place for the graphics.

Yeah, I use Photoshop for that, don't see why you would use Excel if you have CS3.

PS is so easy. It's a matter of creating new layers with one pixel black dots and then re-sizing them with Ctrl+T.

Personally, I think it's the best way of doing it!
