Flash Demo? Good Idea or Bad?

I have a flash demo (a quick one) showing thew beauty of free flow technology.

Tell me is this a good idea?
Whats the pro's and con's?

Ok, I viewed your online demo. As far as demos go it is good. Maybe a little bit more text would be great.

One thing I'd recommend would be to password protect this demo where people have to request a password to view the online demo. The reason I recommend this is because your competition, or those planning to be, can copy your program and see what all you have in it. Which is not a good thing.

Things i'd change:
You need somewhere where someone can click what section they want to view. Let's say I only want to see the adress book layout, then I can click a tab and go straight to that portion of the video. This I think would be an easy to do fix, but would be something a little nicer for your viewers.

Voice walkthru. This is a big thing now-a-days and can be used in many ways. If you don't have a great voice, maybe someone you know does and they can explain what they are doing as it happens.

Login names. Not sure if those are real or not but your displaying an email address on there. So I'd recommend making it something like user@yourdomain.com this is typically what I see for most flash demos.

Keynote Systems, has 2 services KeyCare & KeyStaff. There pretty much the same thing, except KeyCare is Home Health where KeyStaff is for professional staffing companies.

I guess this demo was more to show Keynote what I could do. Since they've approved it, I'm going to be doing detailed demo's for it. Showing how you can keep track of your prospects, entering your entities, dealing with HR, working with orders and scheduling, printing reports, using KeyMail as your e-mail client, creating medical records (specifically for KeyCare)... The list is endless.

Yes I agree with some sorta of menu. I don't think the customers want to go in (weather fro training, a current customer, or a prospect) and wacth the entire thing. As it could get lengthy.

What I'll most likely do is have a html selection for the specific flash demo.
