Creating a CMS and Blog...
Hi all,
I am designing a new website for myself, and i want to have a blog too. But i need to know that if its better to create a blog by myself or use one of those ready made blogs and integrate into my website ? If its better to use the ready made ones, which one will you suggest ? Also what about the CMS ? Happy New Year !  Regards

Wordpress can be used as a cms system, but if you are looking for an all in one system then you can't go far wrong than drupal.
Building one from scrath would be a great learning curve though, so I guess it comes down to what do you want to get out of it?

I want to have a personal website, also a blog that would have information about multimedia.
in the main site i will have some links to the new posts of the blog.

Wordpress is by far the easiest to integrate.
I put the CC newsletter design into it very easily.. but we had some problems so we're not using it
