Using google calendars

Hi,

I've set up a website for my wife's self-catering flat using FrontPage. I've already decided that I'm going to redo it sometime soon, maybe using DreamWeaver, and will try to make it look more attractive.

I found it was difficult to get some good calendar software for the availability page, so for the moment I'm using Google calendars (have a look at the page http://www.selfcateringcrieff.co.uk/availablity.htm) It seems to work quite well for now, but I'm sure there's a better way to do it. Any ideas?

Cheers,
Alan

Doubt you'd get much better than that tbh.

Re: Using google calendars

I'm not familiar with the google calendar... can you customise the styling? By that I mean can you edit the code yourself?

try www.hotscripts.com and look at the PHP scripts, you will see many calendar scripts.. These may offer the customisation that you require

Re: Using google calendars

Hi Rakuli,

Thanks, looks like I need to start using PHP, I found a few examples on that site that look suitable.

I've not maganed to customise the styling of the google calendars, just to set the colour that is used. There is an API at http://code.google.com/more/#label=F...oduct=calendar, which I'm sure would allow some way to customise a calendar if I could work out how to use it.

Cheers,
Alan
