Primary Key

Hello, i have a question. i am putting ithere as it isnt really to do with web as of such so...

what fields from below would be chosen as a primary key? if we are talking about lottery tickets?

- date of purchase
- transaction code
- date of draw
- chosen numbers
- point of sale identiforcation code

I guess it would be whichever field is 'sensible' and has a unique value associated with it.

Could be transaction code if each new ticket increments the value by 1.

i'm assuming the transaction code is just for the shop that sells it

Are we talking about for a database in access or MySQL? If so, I would say which ever one has a unique value for each transaction. That would probably be transaction or identification code.
