Re: new web site help

You'll need more than just HTML and CSS to get this project going. A server-side language and a database is going to a must! PHP or .NET to handle all the display or pictures and categories etc... and a db (MySQL, Oracle, etc...) to store all you data.

A long way to go but a fun project.

Are you a beginner? If you are this will not be an easy project for you.

Are you a photographer by trade?

Re: new web site help

First ... loose DW unless you use the CODE VIEW ONLY!

With *basic* knowledge of HTML and CSS ... you won't get you very far! Start by designing the site, then you can think of adding the perks.

Re: new web site help

That's it? That's the site?

It's just an image.

You don't have a doctype in your code. Check the articles on the forums ... there's a good one about doctypes.

You're using a table for the layout which is a big no-no. Look in the Beginners' Resources section for a sticky on resources on how to code you site in css.

Keep working at it.

Re: new web site help

I'm sure he's just wanting examples to learn from. We've all done it. We see something we really like and we immediately proceed to view source and "see how it's been done".

perform300 I don't know of any examples. See about googling it.
