sujestions on improving rank for 1 keyword

Hello all.

Well i been doing everything i can think of to improve my ranking for the term water injection. My site is www.alcohol-injection.com I went on a linking compain and have my link in over 100 link directory's, bottom of webforumz and on many other sites. And That took me from approx 100 in Google to 50ish in google. I was wondering if anyone fills maybe i look like keyword spam on my homepage or i just need to get more content relivent links etc. I show up fine for all my other keywords just lack on this one. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

You're doing well for "water alcohol injection" since the phrase appears multiple times in your copy as well as title tag. If you are specifically looking for just "water injection" I'd suggest removing the extra words between that phrase.

Also back links are obviously important but if you have too many going to low, unranked or banned (very bad) sites it's going to hurt more than it will help.
