WebSite Security Login Redirect
My home page is password protected, but by knowing the URL of a page beyond that page someone can just enter that URL and bypass the login page. Is there a way of redirecting them back to the login page when this happens?

Re: WebSite Security Login Redirect
I'm a bit curious as to why anyone would have a home page password protected.
It's usual to protect certain directories and certain pages that have special functionality. Depending on your hosting facility, you should be able to apply protection at the directory level simply through your control panel. Individual page protection is better handles through the use of the .htaccess file and its partner file .htpasswd. This file is usually in a protected directory. |

Re: WebSite Security Login Redirect
I do want to protect my "entire" site, I'm using Yahoo's GeoCities as a host. As for as I know, .htaccess file is not available to me.. I am new to this so I may be barking up the wrong tree. Would appreciated any suggestions. Thanks Don
