Show last posts, show your posts

I've signed here recently and have a hard time seeing what's been posted since my last visit. not to mention "view your posts". It;s a huge forum and it's a headache searching what's been posted lately.
Maybe you could change that. Unfortunatelly something tells me it's very hard

Dojo.... whenever you are logged into the site and in the forums section of the site, there is an 'Active Topics' link (in the header) which show's all posts since your last login.

This should help.

As a big user of PHP boards myself, I also didn't realise when I first used this forum... It makes me wonder how many people miss this feature altogether!

Maybe you could make some announcement or similar stuff for idiots like me

I just came back to this thread:
I think we could email new members - It certainly wouldn't be too hard. That email could contain a short overview of the site... I suppose it would help, especially as we grow.
