Flex/MXML Forum
I know that Flex is related to Flash and Actionscript, but MXML is a completely different language that maybe should have its own forum. When I post a question in the Flash forum in MXML, I bet most people don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
If you started a Flex forum, I would be happy to moderate it... I am currently working on a long-term project that I am designing in Flex and I will be learning a lot over the next few months. Not only that, but I believe that by having a forum titled "Flex or MXML", you will get some great google rankings on search results for people searching for help since there are very few established forums dealing with Flex. |

Re: Flex/MXML Forum
I don't think there are enough Flex users on WebForumz to make this viable. But then again, I'm not in charge of these things. Rob?

Re: Flex/MXML Forum
my point is that being one of the first forums to have support for a new technology is good for business... by starting early, you will force troubled flex users to come here, and then when flex gets popular, you will have an established user base. As opposed to implementing a forum later on when there are already many established resources on the web and there won't be any benefit in coming to a new resource that doesn't have as much experience.

Re: Flex/MXML Forum
I am one below rob in the ranks and even i don't know anything about flex, in fact, I only come across the name a few weeks ago for the first time, I think Robs reaction would be that there is not enougth call for it at the present time,
I can understand that new technology's need discussion forums, but we don't want 'dead space' here because its not good practice for the forum, will be something to think about for the future if enough people enquire about it, in the mean time you can use the flash forum, if we get enough enquiries there, then we will make its own section.

Re: Flex/MXML Forum
I am concerned that tox0tes will be the only person looking after this forum - no other staff no anything about flex or mxml....
Until that changes, or I'm convinced it can be handled (nothing worse than threads going for days without a reply) then I really dont think this will happen.... Of course I would love webforumz to be one of the first established forums for this, but without in house knowledge of this how can it happen?
