N=Unanswered posts

I think we need to do something with the Unanswered post section, we have alot of announcements and stickies that will never be answered just sitting there taking up room.

We have 500 unanswered posts and trying to filter through the genuine member's posts and random posts and announcements is begin to be a long winded exercise.

My main concern is that someone is going to get a thread lost in the heap and never get their thread answered.

Is there a way we can make threads that the user does not expect a reply to to be closed instantly and announcements closed.

Just a thought, sorry for the long windedness of this thread.

And possibly remove jobs from there too.
I see unanswered posts as a way of finding people to help.
If we want a job we go to the job section and look

It's so nice when you realise your not alone on something, I hate posting on this one, I normally go into such a rant to be told your wrong, it's been done or just feel like crawling under a rock and hiding, Jacob is scary, special when he threatens me with the cupboard. It's just so dark!
