Re: Webforumz wap

What kind of question do you see yourself asking that wouldn't fall in HTML or CSS sections?

Re: Webforumz wap

As a side note, your sites should all work perfectly well on mobile devices as long as you build using current standards. There's not a huge amount to discuss and the demand for these sites is low.

I can't really see a dedicated forum being used except perhaps when people ask, "What's WAP?" or "Do I really need to test my sites on mobile devices?".

To which the answers are: Wireless Application Protocol, a means of accessing the internet using a mobile device (phone or PDA for example) and, not really unless you have reason to believe that any number of people will attempt to access your site using a mobile device. Well designed, standards-based sites should be fully functional when viewed on any device.

There you go, I've saved everyone from the trouble of creating another forum.

Pete.

Yep, I agree. Of course...I might just be saying that to avoid work...but I guess you will never know!

Re: Webforumz wap

WAP was never really widely adopted and I personally see it as a stop-gap technology until all phones display web pages accurately from normal HTML markup
