Yes. You should judge on a case-by-case basis. Although that would take some time, its worth it because the so-called active members in webforumz are really not many! I would say less than 100... ok, 100 divided by 6 for each admin! thats less

Our Active Members are growing, but slower than the overall member count obviously. I figure we have around 15 very active members and around 30 generally active members.

By the way, I usually drop by here about thrice a day and five times if I've posted a question of which I really want to answer to.

I am basing my estimate not on page impressions, but the last visits of members on the members screen. It gives a much better indication of how often people are returning.

It depends... Firstly it would be quite difficult to put one together and make it interesting, but not a more serious note, wouldn't people assume it was spam and delete it quickly - thus wouldn't it tarnish our reputation before we'd even established one?

I think we actually need to develop the 'portal' side of the forums. The new portal content being added along with HOT forum threads could easily make up a 'whats new on webforumz' newletter.

That I do not consider spammy.

Hi Ben...

We are in fact working on the portal version of webforumz, and sirkent is working (I hope) on a flash based chat application which is a-central to the upgrade.

Rest assured, our regular members will be informed asap as soon as there is a beta.

Regards,

Rob
