Grrrr!

Just broke my memory stick! Was in the usb slot, and as i go and walk somewhere, and I kicked it, and the head of it has come clean off.

Luckily I have everything backed up on my home computer, Phewww!

I had a lucky escape with mine. It got machine-washed in my trouser pocket - still worked though!

Haha, that was quite lucky wasn't it, wish mine was that lucky, but I suppose memory sticks aren't expensive these days, So not all bad.

When my son went off to college a few years ago, I bought him a removable drive so that he can bring back his college work without having to decide what to take and what to leave.

Now, I too have switched from sticks to removable drives - I no longer have to double-check my pockets when putting clothes in the washing machine.
