Getting away from everything...
Well, I have to say that I love technology, absolutely love it. I love being able to order my shopping via my fridge, browse the internet wherever and whenever I want, record youtube vides onto my phone.
Anything and everything techno-gadgety I love. But every so often I also like to get away. This year, towards the end of August, for a short break we are going here : http://www.featherdownfarm.co.uk/ No internet, no technology, not even any electricity… The kids are going to love it, and I'll be able to shown them some of the farming roots that are buried deep down Where do you go to escape?

Re: Getting away from everything...
I usually read a book or a newspaper when I decide to get away from technology.

I go to a place called 5B, it's just the top of a car park but i can sit up there for hours, it's right in the center of the city.
Other than that i just walk around.... but technically it doesn't isolate me from technology. |
