New Internet?

Japan is hard at work at it's new internet. Hopefully the US and UK will get a new one too. (Fingers crossed) Here's what's on my list of what this new internet could use:

• Stricter standards (Those browsers should all support W3C standards *cough* *cough* IE *cough* *cough*)
• A couple of rules (Who wants to get rid of those website that are just there for advertising, like http://gaming.com/)
• Being able to support the massive amount of bandwidth (current internet is rapidly running out)
• HTML 5

So, please post your comments and opinions on a brand new and shiny internet.

Heck, maybe even a new W3C funded by all the countries of the world (Maybe ASCII - Association for Standards and Convience of the Internation Internet)
