Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
Talk to the computer aloud? 'Ohh for *********** why are you not working'? Is usually what I say whilst PHP developing.

not intended for harm but for a joke.

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
Lol, I know one of my developers who lost 5 monitors, because of his bad luck with code.

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
This is an excellent poll. I always leave the semi colon off in php and javascript

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
Ya I think only well experienced javascripters don't forget the semicolon, because I always miss one or two.

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
I always put them in, in VBscript ha.
I always forget to put the "using namespace" in C#.

How about an option for, "I describe the alt attribute as a tag".

I forget the semi-colon for java script

You don't need semicolons in javascript, unless you write multiple statements on the same line.
Lots of people use semicolons as end-line punctuation in javascript, but there's no need.

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
Despite there being no need, I like to do it. It seems neater.

Re: The Stupid Poll For Web Developers
Looking at the poll results, I am totally surprised by how many times people lose hours of work because they forget to save their code! I thought that only happened to me.

...probably because you are familiar with other languages (PHP) where it is necessary.
