Re: Computing A-Level

A friend of mine took the course. He's studying Computer Science at Uni now

He said it was good, not too basic (I think they expect you're all fairly skilled when you start the course.) I think he did a touch of C++, but he did an entire project using Excel and Visual Basic.

He also developed a virtual online community, but the focus was on PHP and database skills, not really design, CSS and the like.

Computer science is supposed to be the best IT qualification out there.

Re: Computing A-Level

Sounds good to me The Virtual Community thing sounds great

I've decided to go Computing instead of ICT, because I know ICT skills. What I do not have is a huge coding knowledge.
