-1 ranking for Google in Critique Forum

Some of you have recently asked why their sites have been given a "-1 ranking" from google in the Critique Forum.

We believe -1 equates to N/A, or in other words there is no current Ranking.

N/a differs from Zero as far as we can currently tell.

I was just curious and decided to see what I could find. This is a fairly complete explaination if anyone is interested.

Why don't you edit the script so that "N/A" is output if the pagerank is said to be -1?

It's probably for the same reason that it's difficult to get the code to validate here and other problems. Because of the way the forum is built up then there's a quite a bit to it, as you probably know. There is always the question of time. There is a lot of work to be done generally and despite the staff's six figure salaries, we often don't have much time. Those yachts don't drive themselves .

Isn't it just one file that dynamically creates an image of the pagerank and all that would be required would be to change the image (either static or dynamically created) that is output?

p.s. What OS does your yacht use?

I haven't got a clue to be honest. I don't know what's going on behind there. Jacob, Ryan or Rob would know the best. It may be something that is easy to change.

Well -1 didn't happen in testing. Apparently Google is now treating PR a little differently. Rob is guessing it was a recent PR change from google.

Aside from that there is no other info...

And being a man of style and sophistication, my yacht only uses only the finest OS and not one that is free (yeuch!). It runs beautifully on a mac. (Although I'm stuck with with my pc at the minute because I managaed to do the undoable and wreck my mac, it was the hard drive).
