Use The Texture!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I like the plain grey. You have never struck me as a texturey sort of designer...Clean and clear...

I like the texture better myself.

plain grey. textured backgrounds suck. they're so 1997! (lol)
just have a look at the worst websites archive and you'll see that most of them have some sort of freaky background.

my personal opinion aside, funky messed up backgrounds make the text harder to read...

I like both but it depends on what it looks like on. Stick it on as a bg so we can see properly. I'm quite liking the pattern at the minute but I like patterns more so...

Yes, but what if he did the textured bit just around the outside and left it plain where the text is, that could work maybe?

well what i was thinking was that i needed to jaz it up a lil couse the sites looking a bit boring atm so i dno maby if i get a few more examples we can see what they look like huh. any good sites too get them from ?? ( ILL ALSO MAKE SOME MYSELF AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP FEEL FREE IM NOT COMPLAINING ) LOL

ok i was to lazy to fidle with the code so a quick copy n paste is what i did

Nah... no texture. The site looks sharp, smart, smooth, slick, etc... the "grandad's wallpaper" on the background doesn't fit in the picture (in my eyes).

I like texture but not that texture. That's too grown up and old fashion for you bruno.

I like that pattern actually but not on your site bruno. I've got a nice one that works well on cleaner looking sites. It's just diagonal stripes, grey too so it may fit with you site.

My nan actually has that design in her front room in blue.

If you really want to use textures, you need to go with something modern to show that you can adapt to with the times.

yeah i spose the texture is kinda old fashioned huh lol and thanks for the texture pete ill see what it looks like.. but im also gona make a few of my own ill post them up here when iv made them..

in the mean time is anyone closes this thread i will have a right lil bi**h fit and zap who ever did it with the tazer i stole off jacob a few months ago ITE!
