It's working for you on your Mac, Jacob? I wonder if it had something to do with some of the plugins I have installed.

Also keep in mind Windows apps are built much differently than Mac apps. Apple provides frameworks for developers as does windows but the software still has to run in the windows environment. Windows itself could be cause to some of the bugs.

Are you saying Apple can't write code in Safari that will bypass windows know quirks? Like I said, it is really unusual for Apple to release such buggy software...even in beta.

I just received an update for Safari for windows. This is version Beta 3.0.1 (if I'm correct). Maybe it's better now?

I am sure they have however they are also stuck dealing with windows api's.

Oh nope, I just checked I have Safari 2 something on my Mac. So I guess I should not upgrade? I know the windows version did not work at all.

The safari 3 Beta on Mac seems more stable. But again if it does indeed use Webkit, the mac version would obviously be ahead as Webkit has been around since OS X.
