Client Management Script for Designers - Request Features!

Hey Everyone,

I am in the process of developing a client management script for designers. My main target is freelancers, but the script also includes capabilities for design firms. I am trying to get as many quality features as I can into the script before it is released for purchase. Current features and a demo can be viewed on www.phpcmd.com

Please post with anything you think is missing. I will be checking back frequently, and I plan to get most of the suggested features into the main build.

Thank You,
Colin

Re: Client Management Script for Designers - Request Features!

I viewed the site and used the walkthrough as recommended and the format seems well layout as it took me through 7 stages of creating a new project.

However, when I tried using the demo it only offers the one stage where you answer questions about 3 Unique Logo Concepts. Maybe I'm missing something or doing something wrong or perhaps this just being a demo is all it shows?

Not completely sure where you ran into a problem. Did you start the walkthrough from this page?
http://phpcmd.com/CMD/admin/newProduct.php

That is where you were meant to start. After you fill in the product details, you will be asked to fill out the unique questions, and then the product statuses. After you click "Finished" you will be brought to a listing of all current products. Set the product you just built to "Public" so it will show in the products list.

Let me know if you have any more problems.

Thanks for trying it out.

Generally pleased with the program.

One suggestion, capability for client to upload existing logo or image for logo.

Currently, the client can upload files as comments if the administrator allows it. I will add a feature so the client can also be given the option to upload files during project creation.

Thanks checking out the demo and for the suggestion.

Glad I can help. I just know the site I am working on already had a brick and mortor store logo and the client wanted to use it on the web page. All I had to do was tweek it a bit and add it to the page. Much easier than having to design from scratch.
