Re: Mac Computer

Pete: wait 500 more posts and you'll have no more ads.

Moojoo: can't comment too much, but from my 2 year experience, it's not worth it in the slightest. I didn't think twice in saying no to AppleCare for my new MacBook Pro. Is there something I overlooked?

Re: Mac Computer

That's good.

And by the way, I can also vouch for AppleCare, it's so good. Make dell look like amateurs, then again amateurs make dell look like amateurs so...

It's up to you whether on not you go for it though, I mean I never intend to break anything or for anything to go wrong but it always does. So it's handy to have.

Pete.

Yeah I thought I read that somewhere...but was not sure. Apple should advertise that iLife is included with every new Macbook pro. iWork is it really worth getting? Do you guys have it?

Re: Mac Computer

I'd get it if I were you. It's a great little package and only £55 over here. I use it all the time.

Re: Mac Computer

It's two programs, Pages and Keynote. Pages is like Word (I use it for all my schoolwork and business documents) and Keynote is a way cooler PowerPoint. They both export files as Microsoft Office files so you can actually use them with Word or PowerPoint.

Haha, don't worry Jacob. That was made well before Jaguar. That's like me posting a thing about Windows ME up here and you being worried about Vista.
