So, this myspace thing...

So, I finally got a myspace account. I literally spent hours on it and I basically got it blue with some custom images that I made. So a little bit disappointing, but I'll keep working on it and one day I will have the best MySpace page ever!

You see. MySpace does have a purpose: it brings people together. But unfortunately it drives them insane before they can actually meet these people.

I swear to god this page will be the end of me. But slowly I'm finding it's ways. And I am having to use every bit of coding nouse that I've got to get things thing moving. I tell you what though, it's css workout if every there was one.

I wonder what eric meyer or tantek celik could do with one? Hmmm... Struggle probably and then do a talk about it (not forgeting to charge you for the privilege).

hahaha...if not piss off...I like that. I feel the same about my “myspace”...except just piss off!! I swear in the last 2 days you would think I had a life, AND loads of friends. I have gotten so many people I don't know asking..."can you build me a myspace", "please add me as your friend", "what is your MSN or AIM", "will you marry me?"...okay I made the last one up, but the rest are true….but this is happening in bulk…like about 30 per day…lol

That's so funny. Look at it as a boost to your ego, not a bad thing. We all know I need my ego boosted, so I hope I get those, too

hahaha...lol, Yeah you certainly do...you have no skills...but I don't think that will happen Ryan. You see, first you have to learn CSS...which is just complicated, and to be honest I don't think you are smart enough...lol

P.S. To any newbie reading the above, I would never talk like that to anyone. But Ryan is special, as he is THE CSS GOD, and is all knowing...the first paragraph was a sarcastic remark.

It's not entirely finished, but that is the look I'm going for. I'm still working up the courage to get my hands dirty by creating the longest HTC file in the history of the internet to get my profile working in IE, so please, only comments coming from Firefox, Opera or Safari users.

MySpace is evil! I used to get nothing but comments saying "Get discounts on a wide selection of penis enlargement pills" and "Goto www.sirspamalot.com for cheap penis enlargement operations" I thought my ex was spreading distasteful lies I have a new account for my site... nothing fancy as I don't use it much (no editing what so ever).

It's probably got something to do with not having enough of a life. It's funny actually, I should be writing a business plan as I have to present a funding application on thursday. I weighed it up in my mind, a myspace page or 10000 pounds? I'm guessing now that i picked wrong. Ah well.

When is everyone else's MySpace pages going up? We should start a MySpace/WebForumz revolution.

I will say, it was "fun" to make a MySpace layout. Painful and rewarding at the same time. However, I'm not going to use it as my primary social outlet, but more of a place to go when I am in the mood to catch up with acquaintances.

I've found the whole thing quite fun. Frustrating from a design standpoint but socially quite nice. I've spoke to old friends I wouldn't have got in touch with otherwise and one or two people who I only kind of know, I've chatted to. I thought MySpace was just for wierdos and freaks and I may not have been wrong but now I'm one of them.

I still want a thousand friends though and I'll not rest till I do.

good work considering the code generated on MySpace pages is so messed up... But I've been there, done that and I thoroughly recommend www.Facebook.com.
