is it worth submitting to search engines?
hey all,
I recently read an article that suggested good structure, wording, phrasing and content etc was far more useful to SEO than any amount of submissions to search engines. any opinions on whether this suggestion has any merit?  thanks (and if this should be in a different forum, sorry, I'm still learning)

Submissions do very little to Google and the like. Structure is important, as well as inbound links a number of other things. It's not something that's easy, though. Just tinker with your site and watch the rankings closely.

It is not advisable now to submit your site to SEs like google etc. The crawlers will visit your site anyway.
An SEO program has a lot of factors to consider. Some of these factors are what did Ryan Fait posted. Further reading about SEO tutorials, write ups and the likes will give you enough knowledge. My two cents worth... ArdRigh
