Moojoo..question for ya!

Moojoo... you made a post recently about the type of camera you use didn't you?
I just saw your blog and the quality is excellent and I'm in need of a new camera... What do you use?

Linda

Re: Moojoo..question for ya!

I have a Canon 20D. Apart from there being no ISO50, it's a wonderful camera. Takes beautiful pictures and there's no detectable delay when shooting pictures. I recommend it if you don't need an extremely portable camera.

However - if you do want an extremely portable camera, try:
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/86269...l-ixus-60.html

I've got it's little brother the ixus55, and it's truly fabulous - beautiful photos and so small! The video quality is also brialliant, and you can zoom in and out while taking them. It's lovely as well because the LCD screen takes up almost all of the back, so it looks very expensive!

Re: Moojoo..question for ya!

Thanks Ryan and Snow! The Canon 20D Ryan recommended is more of what I'm looking for. I want to be able to add zoom and wide angle lenses....

Since I'm a hobbyist I don't think I need the ISO 50.

I'm tired of the little camera's with lousy zoom lenses... that really don't zoom you in close enough...

As a side note.. I cannot believe how many people on this forum that do web design are also into photography! I guess creativity runs in many fashions.

Re: Moojoo..question for ya!

I really enjoy photography and I've captured some amazing photos over the years. Maybe I should make a section on my site to show it off.

Re: Moojoo..question for ya!

I used a Nikon D70, as of tomorrow I will have a Nikon D80 with a AFS Nikkor 18-135mm lens. =). The canons are good, I prefer the Nikons on their build, features, layout, and better handling of higher ISO settings.

Edit: I also use a Nikon S1 as my pocket cam. Half of those shots are from that.

Re: Moojoo..question for ya!

Really Canon or Nikon is up to your preference. Depends what you need. To be honest if you want a Digital SLR on the cheap the D70's are cheap as now. Great camera even still.
