I have no idea either but thing is who ever made this needs to sort it out cause i would never wait for the progress bar to load cause it is so slow and puts me off straight away

Yeah, I was thinking about putting it in the worst website place, but changed my mind because the work is not great, but not horrible either. But I can't find a place to look at products, or read about the company, so I have no ideal what the purpose is. Weird!!

yup the work is ok mate but the progress bar just puts me off the site as it takes so slow to load the page

Yeah, but that is because flash loads the entire website upfront. Imagine loading your whole HTML website upfront...that would suck. Normally flash designers try to keep this under control by loading the website one page at a time...but apparently this artist does not care what others think.

It is interesting! But yeah, show me the content and load everything else while you can still have a shifty at what the site's about.

yup sites with slow progress bars make me leave the site straight away cause whats point in waiting ahes when all you want to see is the content of what the site is about

Depends, some companies websites, are only their to appeal to a certain market, which that market has a high speed T3 connection, and they could careless about what you think. But for some company’s, they need your business, then they should have a fast website. For example...could you image if google was slow....that would never ever happen…because they need you to use their search engine.

That company has a really cool website, but takes forever to load on a normally high speed connection...because they are trying to appeal to corporations...like AOL, Yahoo, and Sony...which all have super fast connections.

i agree with you mate but this site is well done in flash if i could do this in flash then i be earning loadz of money cause it stands out so much to people and most peopel like it because of the little flash robot on it lol like thats what caught my eye the first time you showed me

Yes Cool lol and funny but i am glad they improved it cause that old version of it takes long to load and if i viewed it when was like that i wouldnt know what was happening so i would not visit it and i would look for another site

No, they (Macromedia) did not improve this, the designers that build the website, add a bunch of extra actionscript, and or JavaScript to make this happen. That's why so many sites suck, because they don't feel like putting the extra time into achieving a fast load time.
