Re: Domain Names in Sigs?

I think Rob was drunk when he wrote that part...lol, read this part...
__________________________________________________ ______

Signature Policy
  • Maximum characters, 300
  • Maximum lines, 2 (at 800 x 600)
  • You are permitted to link to your website but dont use more than 2 links.
  • No images allowed
  • Keep advertising to a bare minimum!
  • No Prices WHATSOEVER allowed
For instance, we may frown on:
The cheapest and best professional web design in Georgia
    However, this would be acceptable:-
    Web design in Georgia
__________________________________________________ _______

Read the part that I bolded, to me that means that it is ok, but you are right, Rob did say "no domain names in signatures", but I think he mint usernames considering it is in the username policy!! But whatever, I am not going to change your signature if you link to your website, and I don’t think Rob will either, considering he hasn’t for anyone else.

Re: Domain Names in Sigs?

Yeah, I read that rule a little while ago and changed my signature, but it's probably better for SEO anyway this way. Speaking of SEO, didn't Rob say he was going to remove the rel="nofollow" from our domain names if we linked to the site and that 888.com one? I did do it!!!

Re: Domain Names in Sigs?

Rob did say that, but has been really busy. What he does is adds your domain name to webforumz white list, and the domains on that list, google and other search engines can follow. You would have to PM Rob to see wither or not he added your domain to the list.

It's Rob...and chances are he won't answer your PM anyway. He hardly ever answers PM's, and if he does it will be like 5 month's later. But you might have a chance...so PM the almighty search engine GOD…Rob!!

Haha. Alright, I'll contemplate. I haven't seen him around the forums much lately. Hope he's working for a handful of Fortune 500 companies or something

Nope, he is just invisible...lol

I did not seen Moojoo at all today, or yesterday. I was hoping he would end the WOTM competition, so that people would stop emailing me about it.
