Lmao, actually my computer recently had some virus that would make me never be able to boot up my computer again, but I got my dad to fix it. And I didnt use anti-virus software until after that incident. I used to never use it because I never thought I would get a virus.

Using windows you should always assume you WILL get a virus. Its too widely used not to.

Well I used to download roms and stuff. And thats where it came from. Some dumb virus was with one of the roms somehow that I downloaded.

Virus software is really important. But I just assume not use it at all if you are using like say Norton, MacAfee, or AOL to protect you from virus. This is because you see if I were going to build a virus I would build the virus around those programs because everyone uses them.

And viruses can be built in C++ right?

Virus can be built any virtually any program. Notepad, is my preferred method...not that I would ever build a virus...lol

I haven't used the OS X equivalent of Ctrl+Alt+Delete in probably 6 months. Admittedly, Safari was giving me some crap a few weeks ago, it would just unexpectedly quit, but thanks to Saft, all my browser windows were automatically opened back up like it never happened. Seemed to just fix itself.

In my opinion a clean install of Windows is nice. It's just in three months, I get so frustrated with it's performance, I clear out the hard drive and install it again.

I have to say it...don't laugh...I am excited to see what windows vista brings. It is in production now you know. This makes me happy!! Maybe Microsoft did something right for a change with vista. Probably not...but maybe!!

I'm going to laugh SOOOOO hard when someone cracks it. They said XP would be prirate-proof, and they've gone even further with promoting this one as perfect. They really should just go more low-key on it all. It's all the more publicity for the guy who ends up actually winning.

Totally TURE!! The guy goes down in history, and gets a great job after...prison. Working securing stuff for Norton or somewhere likes that.

That's cool, too. I only use Safari so it's not really necessary for me. A lot of times I'll pass up the small apps because I don't want so much stuff on my system. For the most part, I'm just a Safari, Mail, iTunes, QuickTime, Transmit, skEdit and Photoshop user.
