Question Problems With Border Imags

Hey,

I'm having a few problems with my CSS.

I've created this website http://www.xanox.net/css-template.html and as you can see, with very little conetent, it looks fine in both FF and IE6.

BUT

when i add a lot of content http://www.xanox.net/test.php - i get strange things happening. In both IE and FF the website screws up.

Basically what i want the website to do is stretch the left and right images to fit the size of the content.

Any Ideas?

Cheers in advance,

Rich.

Re: Problems With Border Imags

You need to go back to the drawing board and rethink you markup.

<ul> and <li> were never intended to be used the way you are using them. They are not structural elements as far as page layout is concerned.

Re: Problems With Border Imags

You should be using <div> elements as your primary layout tool.

Suggest you go to http://www.w3schools.com/ and read up on xhtml and css.

Come back when you are trying to implement what you have learnt and have specific questions on something.

Neither your apology or your tone are necessary. I'm merely responding and trying to give you some guidance.

I know, and your help is greatly appretiated.

Just an update on the situation, i got the page to stretch in IE, but not FF.
