table help

Hi,
I know this is the most basic question but since cannot find more information about it anywhere else i am forced to ask it here . I hope that you people will help me rather than submitting unwanted criticism.
I am having some problems regarding the insertion of text in cells of a table. For example if the extent of the cell is from |to |, i am only able to fill the text from |here to here |. I tried reducing the cell padding rate to less than 0 however this did not work. I have aligned the text to left. the left side of the cell is not having any space however the right side does. So please if u can help me i shall be grateful.

Re: table help

A live link to the page in question would be most helpful.

Do I understand you correctly? Are you saying that you need to place more text in the cell than you currently have space for?

Re: table help

Try adding widths to the cells. If I understand correctly, the cells are expanding due to the amount of content in each one, rather than a specific width.
