I've read about this tag on the W3C tutorial website, and didn't get that much about it.
What is the syntax this tag is used with, and can any one clarify the three type of HTML doc types with examples please? |

Re: Doctype
A DOCTYPE isn't so much a tag as a declaration that tells the browser what it is supposed to be looking at and to what standards it must render it.
