Ideas?
Hey guys,
I'm possibly gonna have a job coming in soon for a local property developer's company. All he wants is a simple web presence with a nice sleek modern look. Just wondered if you could give any advice regarding colour schemes or styles? Any help would be much appreciated. Dan

Re: Ideas?
I've been looking at cssbeauty.com and there are some proper nice designs on there... one inparticular is taking my fancy. I may try going with a simialr colour and layout...
http://www.advice-landforsale.co.uk/ I love the combination of green and black/grey slate... Do you think this would work?

Re: Ideas?
I don't like the green but I suppose it depends what message your client wants to get across.
What sort of property developer are they? |

Re: Ideas?
Make some bullet points on the features you like (nothing specific to their website), then go away and make your own fresh new template. Don't keep looking at theirs or you might end up with something very similar accidently...
I'd go with: big, bold and very spread out.... LOL

Re: Ideas?
sounds like you really like the site you linked. i can see why.
it's clean and would be easy to build in xhtml and css. does the content your going to present fit into this format? if its the colors your looking at, i dont think the neon green is appropriate for a conservative large ticket industry. thats a general assumption. if they are a bit more relaxed for a developer then try it, or just bring the intensity down a bit. if you want some place to brainstorm some swatches or find some "metrics" for your color choices try http://www.webwhirlers.com/colors/meaningofcolors.asp ~Pxl |
