Problrm with Images

Hi,

The images with .jpeg extention are not being displayed on the web page, only .gif images are working. Why is this happening, and suggestions?
And when I resize the images to my required size, the clarity is being lost. Can anyone suggest what can be done to maintain the clarity of the picture?

Thankx
Squirrel

Re: Problrm with Images

A common problem may be that the file extension isn't ".jpeg", but ".JPG" try looking at the file properties so see what it has been saved. There isn't any physical difference in the file it is just the way it saves the extension.
Microsoft Paint saves jpegs as a ".JPG" file

Also, if you're on a *nix server, remember filenames are case sensitive.
