Problem with div!!

i created a header image and below that i have put a <div> which is the same width and a certain height... the i added the footer image... now, problem is the div overlaps the footer image instead of the footer image bein directly under where the div ends which i would like...

any ideas... here is my code -

also, it works in Firefox the design but not I.E!!! and the div is not the same width as the images in I.E... any help appreciated!!!!

this is the problem with div layers. I used to use them a lot, I also used frames a lot. The problem was it would look different in every browser, it takes a coding genious to get around the problems and even then it sometimes still doesn't work.

If everyone just used the same web browser we wouldn't have these design issues and it would make my life a lot easier.

It takes time to learn standards and how each browser parses pages to fully understand how you should use div's.
Internet users should be given the choice to use whatever software they want. It is up to web designers to make sure you satisfy everyone's needs.
