your advice counts!
![]() Hello, I have designed a website and i have used a dhtml menu created by coffecup software. I believe that having a dhtml menu would be quite a problem as the loading time would be quite slow. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Re: your advice counts!
I doubt the page would load slowly due to a dhtml menu. With today's common broadband speeds, I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: your advice counts!
You could learn to create your own dynamic menus structures using unordered lists and css. Below is a link to a tutorial I put together a whils back that will tell you everything you need to know about creating both horizontal and vertical menus. After tha, it's a question of visual styling to suit. http://1ontheweb.net/downloads/Creating_a_CSS_driven_menu_system.pdf Enjoy. Last edited by JacobHaug; Apr 16th, 2007 at 17:49. Re: your advice counts!
I may be a little slow here.....
How about making a simple, extremely fast XHTML list menu. |
