Confused over page cutoffs

Hello all.

I have a website issue that for the life of me I can't figure out. Hopefully it's a simple problem that I'm just missing.

I took over the running of a website which was originally coded in Frontpage (ugh). I soon changed that and recoded it using Dreamweaver. I kept to the same layout design (fonts/images/colours/size etc) because that is what the owner wanted. The problem now is that he's telling me all the bottom of the pages are cut off (and missing text) on his screen. I use Firefox and it looks fine on my screen. I've checked it in IE and again it looks fine. I've checked it on other people's computers and all the pages are fine and the text is all there at the bottom. It's very frustrating trying to fix a problem that I cannot see.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions as to why this might be happening and how I can correct it, they would be much appreciated.

And never forget some of the strange things that go through clients minds and the things they say.

It may be that for some reason, something that was previously visible in the browser viewport is not now without scrolling.

You need to assertain that your interpritation of what the client is reporting is what the client actually means.
