Thumbs down Web Templates

Right now i have a basic webtemplate that i made, But certian things keeps going foul.Like i wanted a google search on the top left side of my page, but it keeps going to the bottom left. Can any one help me with that? Also my table are not working right. i usually do it one way and it works.

Example :
<table align="left">
<tr>
<td>this is just an example
</tr>
</td>
</table>

am i doing somthing wrong? I know its probally some stupid thing i got wrong. Can anyone help me fix this.Once i get this fixed i am going to install graphic software (paint.net).

Firstly, with the table example below, you should be closing the <td> tag before you close the <tr> tag...

If you could show us the code at the top of your page where you want the table to go, might be able to help more.

Provide a link and be as descriptive as possible pls. It is alot easier for us to help when we have an online working example to review and such.

Ok so i got the search box where i want it but now i can't seem to get my main body to be centered. my site is http://www.owetis.uni.cc if you look at the source code you should be able to see why its not working. my other tables are moving around like i want now. becuase i fixed the <tr> <td> placements.can anyone help? Also when i try to align something to to rcenter it goes to the right. any one know why this is?

Well to be honest there is quite a few things wrong with that template file, missing a doc type, using old depreciated code, structural errors etc... Not much we can do to help with this short of wiping the slate clean and starting over.

hi are you trying to stop your text move all the way to the right of the screen? can you perhaps draw using something like fireworks how you want your screen to look,
