Image viewer on mouse over event? Pos Java!

Hi all, my first post! Please be gentle!

Can anyone point me to a tutorial of how to make a thumbnail image appear on top of your web page? Like the one on www.istockphoto.com ?

I have been through the Forums unfortunatly a lot of the links are dead.

I liked the effect of the page fading and the image appearing on top. very impressive.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's pretty well commented, so i doubt they wrote it just removed the authors credits at the top [:

But the commenting should pretty much walk you through how it works, and it's javascript, not java (completely different).

Do you mean the popup pic when you hover over the image?

Or are you on about a lightbox style script that i've missed on the site?
