[SOLVED] Converting to Table-less Design

Hi,
I originally designed my school's website way back in the day when I was using tables to structure my websites. Now I'm trying to go back and make it into a table-less design. I've ALMOST got it, but I'm just not sure how to do one thing.

I've uploaded a demo to my site, you can view it at http://www.samason.com/scss. I want the sidebar on the left to extend all the way down so that it is touching the footer div (see any other page for the desired result, as I have not yet removed the table structure from them).

Please bear with me if the code is a little messy, I haven't put all the recently added style stuff in a style sheet yet. I'd really appreciate the help, it's really close!

(and yes, my school colours are red and green haha)

Re: Converting to Table-less Design

Basically, you have to have the main div with its background, but then the container div has the sidebar background.

Re: Converting to Table-less Design

Oh, sorry, I've fixed the problem now, so I took down the demo. Thanks!
