wrapper css problem

Hi I have a problem with a webpage I have created, the url is
http://www.longcroft.eriding.net/admissions.html

The problem is that the page does not alter to the text and when I place the footer images on the page it does not stay at the bottom.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Re: wrapper css problem

Try this, reduce the width of the footer to say 500px (just for now anyway). and then remove the </div> at the end of the content

And add it at the end of the footer... ?

Re: wrapper css problem

Hi I have changed the width and remove the </div>, is it something to do with the footer not in the wrap?

Thanks

Re: wrapper css problem

Firebugs being a pain on your site, it worked at first now it doesn't so i cant really experiment.

In my experience when i've had this problem, i've just wrapped the footer inside the bottom of the content and then added a negative margin to offset it back to the left (can cause problems if your side menu is larger than your content).

Also you've called your side menu after your content (consider this for people who view text only).

Also you have some odd tags in there such as
Code: Select all
<o:p>
(generate by microsoft office perhaps?)

You should validate your page, remove unnecisary tags.

also try removing the closing </div> tag at the end of the #right section, and adding it to the end of the footer.
