Help! Web form to email, cgi scripts?
Right im going round in circles trying to sort this out.
I have a form. Which can be seen here: http://www.devlindesign.co.uk/PriceEnquiry.htm I want to send the form details to my email account at gmail. Ive read various tutorials, nothing works, getting nowhere fast and just wasted a full day on this bull. How do i make this work??? My site is is hosted by easyspace.com and they support php cgi and the usual stuff. Can anyone tell me a simple solution to make this work, or point me towards a useful tutorial. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Re: Help! Web form to email, cgi scripts?
Go to google, and try typing in, free php form script. You will get links for php scripts to process your forms. They will tell you how do implement them as well.

Are you getting any replies at all from the form?
If so, what are you getting back? |

Re: Help! Web form to email, cgi scripts?
What are you expecting to happen? I tried it in Firefox and IE and did exactly what I would expect. In Firefox, all the field values are transfered into an email within the default email client ready for you to send. IE send it more directly. BTW. Your code style is in serious need of sorting out and validating it through the W3C validator shows 32 errors. |

Re: Help! Web form to email, cgi scripts?
Have you created the extra files for your website needed to store and forward e-mail replies to your forms?
THIS tutorial is designed for FrontPage, but you'll get the gist. |
