Hi, i registered a while back but forgot my username and thus since have only been browsing the forums... i'm stuck so i took the effort of re-registering to post this
If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly apreciated. I'm creating a layout that's based on a 9x9 grid. 7 of those boxes in the grid of negative value. I don't really know how to explain this =/ [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] take it that is my layout Box #8 is at left:0px; top:0px; and thus 1 through to 7 are negatively positioned. 8 and 9 are both 0px from the top This is so that when the webpage is loaded the user starts off by viewing page 8. However i can scroll to 8 and 9, but i cannot scroll to boxes 1-7. Just wondering if anyone has any idea how to do this. HTML overflow is set to hidden eliminating scrollbars. |

Re: Negative values in divs (layout query)
mergh, doesn't matter, i thought of a way around it....
I don't think it's possible to scroll to the right, or top, because the browser renders the page from left to right. Thanks anyway Or if anyone even has any idea's i'd still like to hear them ^.^ You never know... could be useful in the future. |
