flash and drop down colliding...

Hi. I have a website and on the main page that I am building, I have a Flash Object, and above this flash object is a picture and when you hover the picture, a menu drops down. Now because the flash object is their, some of the menu is being hidden as shown in the attached picture.

Any help on how I would get around this?

Many thanks

Re: flash and drop down colliding...

Did you export the Flash file as transparent?

wmode=transparent

If you are using DIVs also make sure your menu's z-index is set higher than that where the Flash is present.

Re: flash and drop down colliding...

The line would be:

<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />

If you're using JavaScript to write the embed code (for the IE bug) you'd need to add the variable/value within that as well.
