[SOLVED] Help with the menus on my page

Hi all,

I have a very basic knowledge of webdesign and mainly use Dreamweaver MX, with a limited amount of manual coding.

I am wanting to redesign my site which has several pages. There is a menu bar at the top with different categories, and then sub categories on the left hand menu.

I could really do with advice on two issues:

1 - Can I create a menu for the top, which then stretches down to show the sub categories?
ie. hover over Category A, and a little menu scrolls down below showing Subcategory A, B, C etc
(Similar to the one used at www.diy.co.uk)

2 - Currently, if I have to adjust one of the menu items, I have to update the menu on every single page. Is there an easier way of doing this?

Many thanks in advance for your help, advice and patience!

Thanks

Ben

Re: Help with the menus on my page

1. Check out http://www.cssplay.co.uk for CSS menus. Or check out http://www.milonic.com/ for some JS menus.

2. Check out my article in last month's newsletter: $_GET['ting'] Pages (Safely) With PHP.
